  Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring Sparks a Riot (1913)The Rite of Spring is a landmark ballet by Russian composer Igor Stravinsky that provoked a riot when it premiered at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris. Expecting the demure conventions of classical ballet, the audience was caught off-guard by Stravinsky's dissonant score and Vaslav Nijinsky's violently untraditional choreography depicting fertility rites. Impressionante o silêncio dos Blogs de uma certa esquerda a respeito das manifestações no Irã. A CIA não tem nenhum ingerência no Irã que impõe ao seu povo um regime ultra fechado de sectarismo religioso e de repressão contra as mulheres e minorias. A desculpa é sempre a mesma> são os inimigos externos. O regime imposto por Ahmadinejad é reacionário e é interessante ver blogs que se dizem arejados se omitindo acerca da manifestação de parte significativa do povo iraniano.
